About
The room
One room, one counter, and a short walk from the door to the cup.

Materials
Blackened panelling to the walls, brick left as it was found, white tile along the service side, and oak underfoot. The counter is walnut, poured flat and left to show its grain.
Nothing is lacquered to a shine. The surfaces are meant to mark, and to look better for it.

Light, kept low
Filament glass hangs close over the counter so the light falls where the work happens. The brightest thing in the room should be the cup in front of you.
Seating runs along the brick: a banquette for staying, a rail for not.
Order at the counter, or from a kiosk
Two self-order kiosks sit at the end of the counter, so you can order and pay without waiting for a till to free up.
